Brown's Corner

Brown's Corner
Address Pollard, Boston & Floyd
Built 1750

Not to be confused with Brown's Corner, the shopping plaza.

Brown's Corner is the name of the intersection of Pollard Street, Boston Road, and Floyd Street, and was one of the most important corners in Billerica, serving as a major reference point for travelers and residents alike. It was named after Alfred S. Brown, whose house was where 7-11 is now. He lived there from the mid-1800s through the early 1900s.

In 1951, the location was renamed to the Solomon Brothers Square after two brothers killed during WWII, and there is still a memorial at this location.
